mandatory travel directive

Our county is currently under our state’s Regional Stay at Home Order through a Mandatory Directive which will remain in effect until January 4, 2021 at 12:01 a.m. unless the County Health Officer modifies or extends it.

Travel is also highly discouraged at this time by our Public Health Department. As per the Mandatory Directive on Travel, when you travel over 150 miles outside of Santa Clara County, upon return, you must quarantine for 14 days. Quarantine means to have no contact with anyone outside of your household or members of your travel party.

If your family is traveling during winter break, please contact the school office to determine when your student will return to school. For any questions or assistance, please contact the front office which will be open starting January 6.

Due to increasing numbers of new COVID cases and hospitalizations, please stay safe and healthy during our winter break.

Monday Sept 21 – Backstage with the Superintendent – starts 5:30pm
A webinar with Superintendent Austin to discuss the PAUSD reopening plan with families. Click here to view.

Tuesday Sept 22 – School Board Meeting – Open session begins 6:30pm
The board will discuss school reopening plans. The board will vote on the plans at a special board meeting Tuesday Sept 29.
The board meeting will be conducted via Zoom and can be viewed at http://midpenmedia.org on channel 28. Meeting agenda and documents can be found here.

Back to school night – august 18

Our principal, staff and PTA are all looking forward to welcoming our families to the new school year!

Schedule for back-to-school night:

  • 5:00 – 5:30pm Principal’s Welcome and PTA General Meeting
  • 5:30 – 6:15pm Grades 3-5 Classroom Presentations
  • 6:30 – 7:15pm Transitional Kindergarten – 2nd Grade Presentations
