About

The Barron Park PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a fun, creative and active group of parents dedicated to enriching the Barron Park school experience for all students.  Our parent volunteers organize, host, fund, and create many of the activities, events and supplies that enhance and strengthen the elementary school experience. The PTA works with the our principal, teachers and staff  to provide supplies and programs that: 

  • enhance curriculum
  • build community
  • support students and families
Specifically the PTA provides critical support and funding for teacher supplies, technology, the library, Maker Studio equipment and supplies, the school garden, teacher grants for innovative programs, student government, assemblies, field trips, scholarships for after-school activities, parent communication, heritage pot-luck, movie nights, and so much more.
 
The PTA is led by an executive board and consists of our general members. The executive board meets once a month to prioritize the PTA goals, budget and activities.  It presents the goals and budget to the general members for approval at three meetings during the year that coincide with other school events.  Both general and executive board meetings are open to our whole community and are on our school calendar.  
 
We invite all parents to be active members of the Barron Park PTA.  The PTA and our students are grateful for your voice, vote and financial support.
